Loopo — Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · Last updated: 30 October 2026

Plain-language terms. They will be reviewed by a legal professional before the official launch. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under consumer law in your country.

1. Who we are

Loopo is made by Media Twente, Bedrijvenpark Twente 305, Almelo, the Netherlands (KvK 81789467), loopo@mediatwente.com ("we"). By playing Loopo you agree to these terms. If you are under 16, please read them with a parent or guardian.

2. The game

3. Sparks, items and purchases

4. Fair play

Please play fair and be kind. It is not allowed to:

If someone breaks these rules, we may remove their scores, reset or remove items gained unfairly, block their access to online features (such as the ranking), or, in serious cases, block the game. We only do this when it is reasonable, and you can contact us if you think we made a mistake.

5. Ranking names and friends

Names on the ranking are always created automatically from our word lists, so no personal or rude names are possible. Friend links only share your public friend code and automatic name.

6. Ads

Loopo shows ads, including banners and full-screen ads between levels. Players under 16 only get non-personalised, general-audience ads. You can remove automatic ads with the "No ads" purchase (16+).

7. Your data

How we handle data is explained in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account (your online data) at any time in Settings → "Delete my account".

8. Liability

We work hard to keep Loopo running well, but the game is provided "as is" and we cannot promise it is always available or free of errors. We are not liable for indirect damage or for loss of progress caused by circumstances outside our control. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for intent or gross negligence), and it does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add features. We change the date at the top, and we tell you in the game about important changes. If you keep playing after a change, the new terms apply.

10. Law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the consumer law of your own country. Please contact us first at loopo@mediatwente.com — we would like to solve any problem together. Otherwise the competent court in the Netherlands, or the court of your own place of residence where consumer law allows that, decides.
